Universal Biotech will launch its 7th call for proposal for the Innovation Prize. It aims at acknowledging on an international scale the most innovation early stage projects in life sciences.

The Innovation Prize has been continuously growing since its creation in 2009, fostering more and more innovative projects all across the globe in all the major fields of life sciences. The 7th edition of the Innovation Prize will be launched in February 2015 with the call for proposal and will be awarded on October 5th 2015 during the 6th edition of the Innovation Days.

The Prize awards young start-ups (< 8 years old) and academic researchers for their projects in the fields of diagnostics, therapeutics and E-health.

For the 6th Innovation Prize, more than 200 applications from 30 coundries were submitted. Two laureates were awarded with a grant and a year of consulting services offered by Universial Biotech, with a combined value of 30 000€.

The call for proposal will begin on February 2, 2015 and will be closed on April 22, 2015. Projects can be easily submitted on the platform “Open Innovation Management”. The awarding ceremony will be held during the Innocation Days on October, 5, 2015. The Innovation Prize is a real opportunity to discover and make discover future biotechnological innovations.
