Jazz concerts just for you, to celebrate 20 years of “Free Voices and Sounds”

For the past 20 years the Finnish agency Vapaat äänet has brought to Baltic and Nordic countries the best of French Jazz, through their "Free Voices and Sounds" Tour. 2016 session is still on with with the support of the French Institute, of course...

End of October, pianist Andy Emler, an experienced composer and improvisor, will lead his public into an oniric journey through his Mirror game with Maurice Ravel ‘s work. Several solo concerts, as part of this “My own Ravel” Tour, will take place from 16 until 18 October. The Tour is organised by Eesti Kontsert. To know more : andyemler.eu

Last but not least…Andy Emler will play with Claude Tchamitchian (double bass) and Eric Echampard (drums) for an exclusive trio concert in Tallinn, 30 October. This will take place at Kumu Museum aujditorium, as part of Jazzkaar.

This duo is composed of Vincent Peirani (accordion) and Emile Parisien (Soprano Saxophone). The artists have been praised as the best actual musicians at their instruments. The first of them won Best Artist at the French “Victory of Jazz 2015” awards. Together they also won 2 awards at the Echo Jazz 2015 in Germany. France Musique Radio writes about them that they ”  keep their predecessors’ tradition alive, with a very personal style”, while Télérama, praises them for “renewing their instrument with unlimited creativity and energy.”
