New Master’s Degree for foreign students at Paris Fashion School

March 24, 2017 / May 24, 2017

The École Nationale de Mode et Matière – Paris Fashion School by PSL is opening its new Master's degree for anyone graduated from a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Fashion Design.

The École Nationale de Mode et de Matière – EnaMoMa, or Paris Fashion School, is the result of the collaboration between three of the most prestigious Parisian schools of Higher Education: the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, MINES ParisTech, and the Paris Dauphine University. The result is a school where engineering, management and creation are intertwined within the fashion industry. The Paris Fashion School offers three new programmes: a Master’s degree, two Summer Schools and a PhD (opening in 2018 only).

MAster’s degree

This class, opening in September 2017, will count 15 students, French and foreign, and will aim at preparing them for the ready-to-wear industry as well as the haute couture. The courses will be taught in English only, and include scenography, graphic design, interior design, and the focus will be put on both designing clothes and textile and fabric design. Another component of the curriculum is the management of projects in collaboration with firms. Marc Partouche, director of the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, says this masters is “a bold answer to the paradox that is the ever-growing textile industry and the lack of Master’s degrees and PhD in public higher education schools“.
