Our MOOCs to learn French are coming in 2018

March 1, 2018

The French Institute in Estonia is launching its MOOCs to learn French online in 2018.

Faithful to its ambition to innovate and promote the French language, the French Instiute in Estonia will launch MOOCs in 2018 to learn French. It will become the first institution in Estonia to offer MOOCs as a solution for foreign language learning.

Our MOOCs will not replace traditional classes but will be a solution for different needs as they have their own advantages including time and location flexibility.

The aim is to offer new ways of learning French, with:

  • access to French classes from all over Estonia,
  • short units to follow over several weeks,
  • intensive classes without having to move,
  • classes with cross-disciplinary skills and not only based on language levels like in traditional classes,
  • preparations for the DELF exam
  • classes with an attractive cost

Those MOOCs will also allow French language teachers in Estonia to be trained several times a year, by associating the new IFProfs platform as well.

This project has been co-funded by the Institut Français in Paris and the Estonian Ministry of Education.

More info to follow early 2018. Teachers are already welcome to use IFProfs Estonia.
