Wine workshop: Discovering the wines of Alsace

French Institute of Estonia

September 14, 2022 / September 21, 2022

Kuninga 4, Tallinn

After a well-deserved summer break and following the great success of the wine workshop on rosé in the botanical garden, the French Institute and Sepu ja Hanna Veiniateljee will return to start a new, even more stunning season.

In September, which is traditionally the month of the grape harvest, we will discover the vineyards of Alsace. We have already mentioned this interesting region during our previous sessions, but will see it more closely this time. We will find out more about this very special region, one of the most northerly of French vineyards, and about its typical wines, in particular the white wines, but also the sparkling wines (crémants) and its unique red ones made from Pinot Noir.

The workshop will be hosted in English by our expert Karl-Erik Laanet.

Place: the French Institute of Estonia (Kuninga 4, Tallinn)
Date: Wednesdays,  14 and 21 September from 18:00 to 19:30
Language: the workshops are in English (explanations available also in Estonian and in French)
The price of the workshop includes the degustation of 2 wines per session, plus snacks
Price: 25 € per session (it’s possible to register for one or two sessions)

Registration and information: cours@ife.ee / +372 6271196
