This amount is intended to cover accommodation and living expenses on site. It cannot be cumulated with a scholarship awarded by another French Ministry or an Erasmus + scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>These scholarships are granted for the duration of one academic year (9 months). A new application to the programme the following year is possible, but not guaranteed: only the most deserving will have access to it. Students planning to stay longer in France should therefore consider additional sources of funding.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Numerous advantages<\/h4>\n<p>Being a scholarship holder of the French Government also gives you access to many advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A lump-sum allowance of \u20ac700<\/strong> for expenses related to your studies (purchase of computer, printing costs of documents&#8230;). Accessible for scholarship holders of more than 3 months.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A flat-rate housing allowance of \u20ac167\/month<\/strong> for scholarship holders living in the \u00cele-de-France region (\u20ac143 outside \u00cele-de-France)*. Upon arrival, the student without permanent accommodation is also compensated for up to 3 nights.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuition fees covered up to \u20ac5,000<\/strong> for the course in question, and total exemption in the case of enrolment in a public institution under the authority of the Minister of Higher Education.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enrolment in a health insurance mutual reimbursed up to \u20ac264<\/strong>. Enrolment in the general social security system is free of charge. Both registrations are compulsory and guarantee effective social protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scholars are also exempted from the CVEC (student life and campus contribution), which amounts to \u20ac91, and which helps to improve campus living conditions and to promote student success, especially by developing sports, art, culture, social support and hospitality.<\/p>\n<p><em>* Allowance valid for housing with a monthly rent higher than \u20ac188. In the case of a lower rent, the student will only be entitled to half.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Requirements to apply<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Be an Estonian student, or for those without citizenship, be legally resident in Estonia.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hold a recognised higher education diploma enabling you to enrol in one course in France.<\/li>\n<li>Have an adequate level of French (Dipl\u00f4me d&#8217;Etudes en Langue Fran\u00e7aise), except in the case of training provided in English.<\/li>\n<li>Be enrolled or in the process of being enrolled in a French institution eligible for the 2020\/2021 academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Documents required for the application file<\/h4>\n<p>Each candidate must compile an application file, in French or English depending on the training chosen, containing the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a curriculum vitae;<\/li>\n<li>a letter of motivation;<\/li>\n<li>a copy of the highest university degree;<\/li>\n<li>a certificate of the training course currently followed in Estonia, accompanied by a letter of support from the person in charge of that course;<\/li>\n<li>an attestation of pre-registration from the French higher education establishment (contact the person(s) in charge of the courses you are interested in as soon as possible), which can be provided after the application has been submitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<h4>Calendar of the call<\/h4>\n<p>Because of the health situation related to Covid-19, all the procedure will be exceptionally dematerialized:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receipt of the applications <strong>before Tuesday 09 June 2020 midnight<\/strong>, at the following address: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">theodore.hervieux [@] ife.ee<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A pre-selection of the best applications will be made after reception of all the applications.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Individual interviews with the pre-selected candidates will take place as of Thursday 11 June<\/strong> by the services of the French Embassy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Candidates will be informed of the final decision on Monday 29 June<\/strong> (application accepted, placed on the waiting list or refused).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The application will only be definitively validated upon receipt of the certificate of registration or pre-registration in the French higher education institution.<\/p>\n<p>For any further information, please contact Th\u00e9odore Hervieux, Campus France Estonia Representative: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">theodore.hervieux [@] ife.ee<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholarships allocated by the French Government correspond to a monthly allowance of \u20ac700 paid directly to the scholarship holder.
