The French Government Scholarship call for applications for the 2019\/2020 academic year is open.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These scholarships are designed for students willing to pursue all or part of their university studies in France in higher educational institutions authorized to deliver national diplomas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The concerned courses cover only t<\/span>he academic year equivalent to a first or second year of Master\u2019s degree<\/strong> or leading to a national diploma of an equivalent level, according to diplomas delivered by the French host institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application requirements  <\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • To be an Estonian student, for those without citizenship, be a legal resident<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To hold a recognized higher education diploma allowing to sign in to one of the aimed courses in France;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To have, a sufficient knowledge of the French language (qualification in French language); this is subject to exceptions (for example, course carried out in English by the host institution or agreement with the French host laboratory to supervise research in a different language than French),<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To be enrolled or about to enroll for the start of the next academic year in one of the required education levels.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Scholarships will be granted for the duration of the academic year of the candidate\u2019s formation. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Scholarships granted by the French government are equivalent to a monthly maintenance allowance of about 700\u20ac paid directly to the scholarship holder<\/strong>. It is aimed at covering accommodation expenses and common costs. Every scholarship holder benefits from a social security coverage as well as tariff advantages linked to their status (including university housing opportunities). The scholarship\u2019s vocation is not to cover all or part of of the tuition fees, it can only be attributed to applicants enrolled in a higher education institution that is not requiring any tuition fees for the aimed courses. French Government Scholarships cannot be combined with scholarships from other french Ministry, or with an Erasmus + grant.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Registration procedure<\/span><\/h4>\n

    1. By Friday<\/strong><\/span>, April 26th 2019<\/strong>, strict deadline<\/strong>, to the following address : <\/span><\/p>\n

    The application file (in French or in English for courses in English) must include: <\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • a curriculum vitae;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a motivation letter;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a copy of the highest academic diploma obtained;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a certificate of the followed program by the current university along with a support letter by the head of the programme;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a certificate of pre-registration to the French higher education institution;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a letter from the Estonian employer for the professionally active applicants allowing a study leave.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The letter from the Estonian employer for professionally active applicants and the certificate of pre-registration can be provided after the application has been submitted. <\/span><\/p>\n

      At the same time, the applicant will start the necessary process to obtain a certificate of pre-registration of the higher education institution they wish to attend. <\/span><\/p>\n

      2. First selection will be made after reception of all applications. <\/span><\/p>\n

      3. Interviews for the final selection will be organized starting <\/strong><\/span>April 29th 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      4. Applicants will be informed of the final decision on <\/strong><\/span>May 13th 2019<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The application will only be validated after receiving the certificate of registration or pre-registration in a French higher education institution.<\/strong><\/p>\n
