PARROT program provides travel grants for cooperation between French and Estonian researchers – Information day on 17 February

On 17 February at 11:00–12:00 (EET) the Estonian Research Council and the French Institute of Estonia will jointly organize a virtual information day on PARROT mobility and research cooperation program for 2023-2024.

The information day will be in English and will be held in Teams. The event will be recorded and a recording link will be sent to registrants after the event. Please register before 16 February here.

During the event and in the registration form it is possible to ask questions to the speakers.

The French and Estonian coordinators of the PARROT program will give an overview of the program’s objectives, eligibility conditions of research teams, project selection, eligible costs, etc.

The application round for the years 2023-2024 will be announced in March 2022. French-Estonian PARROT program provides travel grants for science and technology cooperation between French and Estonian researchers. The objective of the program is to develop scientific and technological exchanges of excellence between laboratories in both countries, by promoting new cooperation and the participation of young researchers and doctoral students. In the last call for applications in 2020, 10 projects were selected for two years with a success rate of 50%, and an average annual funding of 5 000€.

PARROT program is implemented in France by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), and in Estonia by the Ministry of Education and Research. In Estonia, the program is coordinated by Estonian Research Council and Cooperation and Cultural Action Service of the French Embassy in Estonia.
