“Nuit Blanche”: all-night event at the French Institute

On Friday, June 1st, from 9pm to 2am, the French Institute of Estonia will hold its first Nuit Blanche, an all-night event. All Francophones of Tallinn are invited to attend this party with many activities, prizes to win and good atmosphere guaranteed!

Important: this event is open to all adults (+18 years) who have at least an elementary level in French language (from the level A2) in order to participate in all our activities.

Opening at 9pm, start of the activities at 9:30pm!

The theme of this first Nuit Blanche (“White Night”) organized by the French Institute is “Comme à la maison” (Feel like home) : for one night, all francophones of Tallinn are invited to join us in the old town, on Kuninga 4, in order to share quality time in a friendly and festive atmosphere..

Come with your family, your friends, your colleagues (at least the French-speaking ones) and don’t forget to bring something to drink !

Many activities

Throughout the evening, many activities will take place simultaneously in the different classrooms of the French Institute. Depending on your preferences, the choice is yours:

  • Colette classroom: screening of French TV series (with French / English subtitles),
  • Proust classroom: speed dating, Werewolf and Trivia games,
  • Flaubert / Beauvoir classroom: escape room and board games (Taboo, Pictionnary, Alias, Cards against Humanity, Time’s Up!),
  • Camus classroom: music, blind test, karaoke and introduction to Breton dance.

You will also enjoy a space for discussion with buffet, in the hall of the French Institute.

Thanks to its various partnerships, the French Institute of Estonia will offer some gifts during the evening. The winners of the Trivia game (two sessions, at 10:20pm and 00:45am) will be rewarded, as well as the tombola winners (random draw among all the participants), with:

  • a gift basket with handmade chocolates, offered by our partner Chocolala ;
  • macaroon boxes, offered by our partner Le Cirque du Macaron ;
  • subscriptions to learn French language online, offered by our partner Frantastique.
